I'm three years younger and suddenly it's a major age gap? Not that long ago I could be legally married. In fact, certain places in the world I'd have been considered an adult already. Juliet was 13. So if I'm just about old enough to kill myself for love, and I've already been sold into slavery once, I fail to see what else about the universe is supposed to shock me.
